Prescription Reader is an online prescription reading and transcription service designed for people who have difficulty understanding medicine names or written directions on a doctor’s prescription.

What the service does

You upload a clear prescription photo and provide your WhatsApp number. A pharmacist manually reviews the readable writing and the service sends the medicine names and written directions to your WhatsApp.

What the service does not do

Prescription Reader does not diagnose illness, issue a new prescription, recommend treatment, substitute medicines, or change the dose or duration written by the prescribing doctor. If handwriting is unclear, it should not be guessed.

Why human review matters

Prescription handwriting can be difficult to interpret. The service is intentionally designed around manual pharmacist review rather than automated guessing. When a medicine name cannot be read confidently, the safer response is to request a clearer image or ask the prescribing doctor.
