Prescription Reader provides a prescription reading and transcription service. This Privacy Policy explains what information we process, why we process it, and how you can request deletion.

Information we process

When you use the service, we may process the prescription image you upload, the WhatsApp number you provide, order identifiers, payment references and status, the pharmacist's transcription, service status information, and support communications.

How we use information

We use this information to create and manage your order, verify payment, allow an authorized pharmacist to review the uploaded prescription, send the transcription or service updates to the WhatsApp number you supplied, provide customer support, prevent abuse, and maintain records required for operational or legal purposes.

Prescription and health-related information

Prescription images may contain personal and health-related information. We process this information only to provide the service you requested and for related support, security, compliance, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Payments and WhatsApp

Payments are processed through Razorpay. WhatsApp messages are sent and received using Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform. These providers may process information under their own privacy policies and terms.

Storage and retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, support users, protect the service, resolve disputes, and meet applicable legal or accounting requirements. Where information is no longer required, it may be deleted or anonymized.

Data deletion requests

You can request deletion of your Prescription Reader data at any time. Visit our Data Deletion Instructions page for the steps. Some limited records may need to be retained where required by law, payment reconciliation, fraud prevention, or dispute handling.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No internet or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
